Weight Training

I have been doing some conventional exercises like dips, crunches, jogging and weights combined with yoga recently and the effect is simply awesome guys!! Every one must try it. You feel light and good on the inside and muscular and tight on the outside. This does wonders for you. I have now decided to join a nearby gym also. I will be going to the gym 3 days a week and I will do yoga for 3 days and take rest from exercising for 1 day. I will let you know how this works out...

Yoga if you want to look great!!

I have been doing yoga since the 20Th for the sole purpose of looking good for the 31'st and its paying off now and I'd like to recommend anyone who wants to tone up now in just a few days to start yoga. Believe me it works!! in fact my ex just said on another blog that she didn't deserve me anyways and I deserve some one much better...

Booze, cigaretes and junk food.

Been drinking, smoking and hogging on junk food a lot in the last 4 or 5 days and now I feel like shit. I hope yoga can carry me through this time of partying safely. The reason for all this partying by-the-way was that a friend has just come from New Zealand for holidays after about a year. He studies and works very hard there and is in a mood to do some all-out partying whenever he comes to Bombay. I like his style but he sometimes goes a bit overboard and takes us friends along on the trip. With the new year's eve approaching fast I am getting really nervous because he is definitely going to force us in to some club hoping and to be honest, I haven't got much taste for this kind of a thing now. Anyways, Here's wishing all of you a Merry Christmas and happy, prosperous and safe new year while I am talking of it-please do Enjoy!!

No yoga again

I have had fever since Wednesday and haven't been able to do any yoga because of it and I feel like shit again. By the way I have been to a doctor and have taken the medicines she prescribed without any whining this time but the reason the fever has continued till today, is that I have had to go to work. I work in call centre and a pretty evil one at that and not going one day costs you a large part of your salary (which I badly need at the moment) and a lot of explaining cum begging to do. You do get a sick leave for an emergency but that happens to be only once in 6 months. Who would dig working here? well I fucking don't. Anyways I slept at 7 in the morning today and got up at 2 in the afternoon. Now, I have a shift at 12:30 am tonight (or the next day) till 9:30 am tomorrow and the bastards don't have climate control installed. God knows how am I going to survive that. I hope the doctor can now shell out some powerful medicine to keep fever at bay. I think I am going to start yoga only after a week as my body needs some rest now and yoga does put some strain on your body and more strain is what I can not take...

Yoga results for me

Its been nearly two weeks since I started out with yoga and I have to say that it really works!! I feel more energetic, poistive, focused, slim and lively than before already and my thoughts are now composed. A friend I met after two weeks actually asked whether I have been on a vacation or something!! I wish that I had a yoga class nearby which I could have joined much earlier as I know nothing beats doing it under a trained guru and with a group. There are many others in my area who feel this way and I have put the idea to the chairman of the sports club I am part of. They are gonna now try to start a yoga class in our club this month. Boy I sure hope this works...

Shavasana for relaxation meditation and a good nights sleep

I work in a BPO ( Call Centre ) and since that requires me to work in shifts and also since I have had sleep problems since years now, I am not always able to sleep well and regularly have to go for days without adequate sleep. Sometimes, I am so tired, I can not even think and I still can not fall asleep, my stomach is churning and there is a feeling of complete un-ease in my body. People who have had to suffer from insomnia would know how bad it is. This has posed so many problems for me over the years, my college education was constantly a struggle because of this and my job is a struggle now. As I have mentioned in this blog before, yoga has helped me a lot with this, and I am now so grateful I started this. Have you ever had trouble sleeping? the try this, its called Shavasana.
